Pure Michigan - Michigan's Official Travel and Tourism Site

ORV

Let’s get muddy. Let’s rev up our engines and attack more than 3,100 miles of the best ORV trails in the country. Here two-track, twisty single-track, rocky hill climbs and soggy mud bogs welcome dirt bikes, quads and four-wheelers. So let’s load up the GPS, keep our trail maps handy and scroll our route sheets, because the stumps, whoops, logs, brush and sand hazards that dot the lightly groomed trails await our knobby tires. Inviting us to enjoy the muddy side of Pure Michigan.

Sandy Korners, Mears

Mears is home to the famous Silver Lake Sand Dunes. This is the only place in the state that you can drive a vehicle on the dunes. Bring your own or rent a dune buggy or jeep. There are also local companies that would be happy to take you and your family on an exciting dune ride.
