Snowshoe, cross-country ski, or hike the best of Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery’s 111 acres. Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery is excited to offer a new Winter Trail system with two trail options that showcase beautiful views of a quiet vineyard, resting lavender fields, and snowy wooded valleys. Guests can keep warm with an insulated mug of Brys’ Spiked Hot Apple Cider, a glass of wine, or a Wine Country Snack Box while enjoying the trail or enjoy it off the trail at one of the cozy fire pits in the snowy open space. The Green Trail is a casual 1-mile loop that starts at the tasting room and traverses through scenic vineyard vistas, past the farmhouse, and back. Add on the Purple Trail, an intermediate trail, to enjoy an additional ½ mile trek through wooded valleys to the Secret Garden’s snow-covered lavender fields before reconnecting with the Green Trail. The exciting new winter trail experience takes approximately 30-40 minutes to complete. Along the way, stop into the tasting room for a printed map, or just follow the trail as it’s well marked. Friendly pets are welcome if they remain leashed and are properly cleaned up after. The trail is open during regular business hours (11 AM -5 PM), but is not groomed and snowshoers must bring their own equipment.
