Experience the Timeless Beauty of the W.E. Upjohn Peony Garden
The W.E. Upjohn Peony Garden at Nichols Arboretum is home to one of the world’s largest and most historic peony collections. With nearly 800 plants and over 10,000 blooms at peak season, the garden offers a stunning display of pink, red, and white flowers.
For nearly a century, visitors from Michigan and beyond have come to admire its 350 historic herbaceous varieties, some dating back to the 19th century. Peak bloom typically occurs from late May through the first week of June, making it the perfect time to visit.
Free shuttles are available May 24, May 25, May 31, and June 1, offering convenient access to the garden.
