How sweet it is! Give the gift of chocolate this holiday season from a Pure Michigan chocolatier. Whether you're seeking the perfect hostess gift of truffles and tarts, an edible chocolate gift box filled with scrumptious delights, or a delectable, dark and dreamy desert to complete the ultimate dining indulgence, there’s a gourmet confectioner somewhere in Michigan with a decadent suggestion to satisfy every palate for just about every occasion.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a theme that The Chocolate Vault can't fulfill with its more than 12,000 molds. If you're looking for more than molded chocolate, you can relive your youth by popping a Sen-Sen or Horehound hard candy from the Vault's old-fashioned candy shop.Characters and animals from block-buster movies have been particularly popular for this Tecumseh company. Once you get your chocolate fill, sink your teeth into a waffle cone oozing with ice cream or sip a Boston Cooler at the ice cream parlor. In past years, favorites included the Security Split, the Mint and the Treasurer's Transaction, ice cream treats that give tribute to the fact that the dessert haven is set in the vault of a restored 1849 bank building.

Detroit Chocolat: Make Your Life Delicious was founded by Casey Petz, the great-grandson of Ervin and Julia Morley. Dating back to 1919, the Morley and Petz families have had a passion for chocolates and confections. Casey brings a lifetime of experience in the chocolate industry to this new venture serving and manufacturing some of the world's finest chocolate products --backed by four generations of chocolate expertise. Approximately 70% of Detroit Chocolat’s products and confections are entirely naturally grown, processed and manufactured. The owner makes every effort to source all of chocolates, confections and supplies from Detroit-based, Michigan-based, or regional companies. Their best seller is its 10-pack Mini Michigan Chocolat bars, which includes five Belgian dark and five Belgian milk chocolate squares.
