The AMVETS Higgins Lake Lodge and Cabins is located on Higgins Lake. Our lodge is open to the public and year around. During the summer boating, fishing and swimming are very popular at our lodge. With a swimming area that goes 500 feet out into Higgins Lake. The shallow water and sandy bottom make a wonderful play area for children and adults. In season there are many golf courses in the area. We are also within miles of state land for deer season along with any other hunting you may prefer. Many trails for hiking or bicycling are within walking distance. Hundreds of miles of DNR snowmobile trails within a few miles. In all the AMVETS Higgins Lake Lodge and Cabins will provide the comfortable and peaceful vacation you are looking for at a very reasonable rate.
