AuSable
Artisan Village (AAV) is an arts & events destination and resource for all
ages in downtown Grayling. AAV offers a retail art gallery featuring dozens of
Michigan artists, small gift shopping, a stage for concerts & live
performances, and classes & workshops for all ages and skill levels. AAV
hosts its annual Great Northern Art Explosion international public art
exhibition in late summer, where artists display artwork in downtown Grayling
to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes.

is a non-profit organization. The mission of AuSable Artisan Village is to
initiate and support art and creative activities that enrich lives and fuel
cultural & economic development of the Grayling community and Northern
Michigan region.

Very nice local artisan stuff!
Have been here once before when visiting. Lots of artisan things to choose from. Friendly staff. Bought a few things (also bought a few things last time I was there). Wide variety.

Fine local art
paintings, jewelry, pottery, baskets any kind of art you can imagine. Music concerts with no cover charge this is one of my favorite stops.

We enjoyed the local hand and artisan made objects. We purchased one item for our home, and several for Christmas gifts.

What A Place
The AuSable Artisan Village is really a neat place to visit, to view and buy local art. Staff by volunteers the cooperative is a great place to visit and purchase really neat art.
