Bay Furnace Campground

There are 49 campsites, each with a fire ring and table. Toilets and drinking water are conveniently located throughout the campground. A sanitary dumping station and pressurized drinking water are available for self-contained vehicles. The Campground serves as a campsite for divers exploring the shipwrecks of the Alger Underwater Preserve.The picnic area has tables, grills, drinking water, toilets, and a sandy beach. This area overlooks Lake Superior making it an ideal place for a picnic or to spend the day. Open May 15 to October 10.
