Designed by Wilfrid Reid & William Connellan in 1927, Brae Burn Golf Club is a classic design which utilizes well the natural contours of the land upon which it sits. The greens are treacherous, especially from above the hole, and this combined with several blind shots presents much of the challenge. There is a nice variety of par 4's, but there are only two par 5's to try to make up shots. The course is 6,080 yards, but the 617-yard 13th is big enough for any course.

Nice course, but nothing fancy
Don't look for a fancy clubhouse here. Course is pretty decent basic course. Plenty challenging for the high handicapper. Staff is pleasant. My main complaint is some of the greens are unfair with...
