Caledonia Lakeside Park has a beautiful view of Emmons Lake, including 1,500 feet of frontage from the shelter house porch. Park activities and facilities include a shelter house, baseball diamonds, fishing/trout fishing, picnicking, a playground and restrooms. A natural-surfaced trail of about a third of a mile explores the wooded areas and a back field of the park. One end of the trail is can be found on the road between the enclosed shelter and the nearby playground. The other end comes out in a wooded area along the trail to the ball diamonds.The park also serves as a staging area for the popular Paul Henry Thornapple Trail.
