This rustic campground is on the shore of Canoe Lake, a 34-acre inland lake that offers excellent fishing and paddling opportunities. This quaint campground has four lakeside campsites that are suitable for tent and small trailer use. Those seeking a place of solitude and remoteness will enjoy this campground and nearby Trail 8. The campground is fewer than 10 miles to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 18.3 miles northeast of Shingleton via H-15, Adams Trail, H-52 and County Road 454. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
