A French castle designed to honor the French heritage of Saginaw. Originally a federal building, it is now the home of the historical museum. It features voyageurs, archaeology, and exhibits on Saginaw County and state history. There are also souvenirs of the museum available. Smithsonian traveling exhibits are on display several times during the year.

Interesting local history
This museum is in a very cool castle building. The museum is cheap to get into and there is plenty to see. I spent a couple hours wandering around looking at the exhibits.
