Challenge Mountain

Year-round adaptive recreation. Our organization is dedicated to helping the physically impaired, mentally challenged and at risk youth achieve their maximum potential through outdoor therapeutic recreation. In winter, the surrounding slopes provide skiing as well as adaptive snow boarding. To add to the enjoyment and learning capabilities offered at Challenge Mountain, we are proud to announce that we operate on a year around basis. Besides being a premier ski destination for people with special needs, we now offer traditional and handicapable hiking in the spring and fall. The summer months offer hiking, overnight camping, sailing, and nature experiential opportunities.

All programs are designed to meet the individual needs of those who attend. To provide the best possible experience, activities are by appointment only.
