Chateau Aeronautique Winery was founded in a hangar on a grass runway north of Jackson, Michigan (called the 'Airpark'). We built a beautiful tasting room overlooking the runway in 2009 and made wine in the hangar for 9 years. Having outgrown the hangar, in 2017 we moved the winemaking operation to a new 8,000 square foot facility on 26 acres in the Irish Hills boasting 100+ parking spaces and a 6,000 square foot Outdoor Seating Area. Since 2018, Château Aeronautique Winery has been on a journey of passion, growth, and innovation! We expanded with Blue Skies Brewery, crafting exceptional beers using the finest small-batch techniques. In 2019, we discovered the electrifying world of tribute bands, leading us to build our 5,500-square-foot Biergarten in 2020—a premier concert venue. By 2021, we planted Laurent Vineyard, and in 2022, we created a stunning outdoor stage for unforgettable weddings. Then in 2023, we raised the bar even higher with bubbly wines and the launch of Mile High Distillery, bringing our own high-octane spirits to the mix. While the Airpark continues as a boutique venue with a personal touch and tours of the hangar and cellar, we can now host concerts, buses, weddings and other such larger events either in the Irish Hills.
Join us every Friday and Saturday for high-energy classic rock tribute band concerts in our heated, all-weather Biergarten. Great music, great drinks, and great times await!
