The Dam Taxi offers kayak rentals and tubing trips on the Rogue River.
Our kayaks are perfect for beginners or the more advanced kayaker. The upper Rogue River provides a slow and scenic paddle through Rockford that ends at the dam downtown. We offer two trips to choose from. The two hour trip, which is the most popular with residents, puts in at 12 Mile and Friske. For those that want to be on the water a little longer, the four hour trip is available and puts in at 11 Mile and Grange. Our staff will schedule a time for your party to meet at the dam. Most of the time our kayaks are available on short notice. During holidays and sunny weekends, its recommended that you schedule your trip ahead of time. We also offer taxi services to downtown Grand Rapids, Ford International Airport, Rockford to Detroit and Rockford to Chicago.
