Emerson Park is a 50-acre park with a variety of amenities. Emerson Park houses three picnic shelters, shelters C, D and E and five picnic areas for reservation. Each shelter is within walking distance of restrooms. Alighted sand volleyball court is available for public use on the south end of the park. The court is operated by a self-serve light timer for extended night use. On the west side of the park there is an inline hockey rink for inline skating in the summer months and is flooded in the winter for hockey. Emerson has horseshoe pits, shuffleboard courts, and opportunities for fishing. A paved path that veers from the Pere Marquette Rail Trail that runs along the Tittabawassee River, perfect for bikers, runners or inline skaters completes this gem.
