Welcome to The Funky Beach House. Relaxation is just a phone call away. Our beach house is just 12 miles from downtown Marquette. Located on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior, with prime beachfront property, there is a spectacular view of Marquette and the surrounding area. Marquette is a college town, home to Northern Michigan University, and therefore offers a wide array of cultural things to do, as well as many outdoor recreational activities. The Funky Beach House sits on top of a dune, and once you walk out the door, the steps (about 15) down to the beach are right there. There is over 100 feet of white sandy beach right in front of you. There is an upper deck with a bar, grill, and a smoker; and a lower deck on the beach. The Funky Beach House has 1 1/2 bedrooms, is approximately 800 square feet, and sleeps up to eight people. There is a main bedroom with a full size bed, a smaller (1/2) bedroom with a futon, and living room with a full-size fold out couch and another futon. We provide all of the linens and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware available for your use, along with a full set of dishes and eating utensils. There is also an oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker on-site. And most importantly, The Funky Beach House has a full bath.
