Hanover Heritage Park, consisting of 87 acres dedicated to agricultural and rural history, is one of the sites operated by the Hanover-Horton Area Historical Society in Hanover, Michigan. It boasts a newly built Antique Farm Equipment barn, a maple sugar shack and a sawmill. There are perennial gardens and a woodland walking trail. An Event Center is available to rent for special occasion.
Heritage Park is a busy place from February through October: Maple Sugaring begins in February culminating with a Maple Syrup Festival in March; the Spring Fling in April kicks off the season opening of the Conklin Museum; Fourth of July activities add to the village celebration, Rust ‘n’ Dust Farm Days in August features two days of tractor pulls, Kids on the Farm activities, demonstrations and vendors; the Harvest Home and Garden Luncheon takes place in September; and Corn Maze Days and activities occur every weekend in October. With activities geared to children through adults, it is a great place to bring the whole family, whether to a special event or just to walk the trails.
