Heart of the Forest RV park is a quiet family owned park offering new full hook-up pull-thru sites. (water/sewer/20/30/50amp) We can accommodate all large rigs with multiple slides and tow vehicles. We also have sites with electricity only, for smaller campers. All sites have picnic tables and a firering. Our bath house is modern and heated with a laundry area. Walk to our convenience store, The Whitetail party mart. We have firewood, ice, hand-dipped ice-cream, pizza, sandwiches, Marathon gasoline and much more. We are minutes from Tippy Dam and the Manistee Rivers which are known for the best Salmon fishing in the state. There are many canoe liveries nearby for canoeing and kayaking. There's Big "M" recreation area for hiking or biking, North Country Trail, Little River Casino, Lake Michigan, many inland lakes, streams and acres of Federal and State land to explore. Fawn Crest Golf course (9 hole course) is directly behind the park. The morel mushroom capital, Mesick, MI is 20 miles to our North. Irons famous Flea Roast/Ox Market held every June is a short 10 minutes from our campground. We have seasonal sites available and are pet friendly.
