Howell Nature Center is nestled around beautiful Pleasant
Lake and among 230 rolling acres of woods and wetlands in the heart of
Livingston County, Michigan. We offer comprehensive outdoor education and
recreation programs; outstanding age-progressive summer camps; a premier
wildlife rehabilitation clinic; adventure education programs; and facility
rentals available year-round to individuals and groups. Guests can visit
our 70 Michigan native animals in our Wild Wonders Wildlife Park, play in Alexandria’s
NatureScape and Tree House, and get hands-on in our Nature Zone. Our Wildlife Park
is open 10:00 am – 5:00 pm daily, year-round, and group tours are available by
reservation. Come Heal, Grow, and Be Wild!

Fun for the kids
Our Granddaughters 3,6,and 7 really enjoyed seeing the animals. They loved the play area and the zip line course. The zip line is only open on Sunday.
