The Paved Bicycle Trail, located in the Island Lake State Recreation Area near Brighton, Michigan, is an out-and-back trail that stretches 4.5 miles one-way. The trail can be picked up at either end of the park at the Hickory Shelter or the Riverbend Shelter. The trail can also stretch further east, past the State Recreation area lines to the Huron Valley Trail or to Kensington. Biking and hiking are both permitted along the paved trail.
