Enjoy the ambiance of this 1890’s farm estate, complete with an authentically restored barn which houses Khnemu Studio LLC, the working studio of ceramic artist Dawn Soltysiak and a unique contemporary fine art and craft gallery. The gallery offers an eclectic selection of hand-made contemporary ceramics and fine art by regionally and nationally known artists. The on-site working pottery studio offers classes & special workshops taught by Dawn or select visiting artists. Resident artist, Dawn Soltysiak, specializes in unique firing techniques, including the primitive methods of pit and smoke firing and the dramatic Raku firing process. Her elegant vessels focus on line and form. Her free-flowing wall pieces and unique bowls are inspired by her natural surroundings. Experience the beauty of the resident farm animals including peacocks, ducks and free-range exotic chickens. Studio classes and special workshops are year round.
