The Kirby House has been a fixture in Grand Haven since 1873. It has been many different things to many different people, but it has always been a community gathering place in the heart of downtown Grand Haven. Today The Kirby House offers something a little different for every dining taste. This is because The Kirby House is home to three unique and different dining choices; The Kirby Grill, our festive family friendly restaurant; The Grill Room, our traditional style chophouse; and K2, our wood fired pizzeria. Each restaurant offers a different menu and targets a different clientele.

‘Dining in the Dark’ was wonderful!
Kudos to the chef and staff who made ‘Dining in the Dark’ a most memorable experience! A great time was had by all. It is a unique experience not seeing what you are eating and tasting.

Updates re restaurant info needed
The link to the menu (links to the Grill Room menu... Grill Room was closed and in its place is 1873) and scheduled hours are incorrect. They are open every day now.

My go-to place
Kirby House is always great! Very good happy hour with drink and appetizer specials. The staff is always fun, too. Don't believe TA about the hours; it is open seven days a week.

A Grand Haven Must Stop In
Just a great place to have a meal as a couple or with friends. Especially terrific during the summer months when Washington Ave becomes an Al fresco dining experience. Food is great.

Great food, drinks, service & location
Delicious food, great happy hour specials on food and drinks! Our server (who was also bartender) was great, very attentive, friendly and did a great job with dietary restrictions. It wasn’t crowded...
