The La-Z-Boy Center/Meyer Theater is a State-Of-The-Art facility that is home to The Monroe Community Players. Players are a group of your neighbors who for over fifty years enjoy getting together and producing high quality community theatre. Our members range in ages from 8 to 80 and all are welcome to participate; both on and off stage. Our season normally consists of a children's show, a drama, a comedy and a musical; though the mix does change from year to year. The La-Z-Boy Center/Meyer Theater also hosts outstanding arts & cultural show ranging from the Toledo Symphony to Jazz musicians like the upcoming Bob James & Angels of Shanghai Show in April.
