Freshwater marshes play a pivotal role in the Great Lakes ecosystem by storing and cycling nutrients and organic material; they help to sustain important populations of animal species, including most of the Great Lakes' fish species. A handicap-accessible marsh overlook is available. Parking area is directly off of M-134.
