We offer free wifi, public computers, popular fiction, current films and TV shows, and lots of other great stuff for kids, teens, and adults. Our library collection also includes special checkout items such as electronics, small kitchen appliances, DIY science kits, outdoor activity kits, creativity kits, and board games. Library programs vary from storytimes year-round to special events.
The library is located in an old Ford facility on the banks of the River Raisin in Manchester, MI. Residents and property owners of the Manchester District Library area (Bridgewater Township, Freedom Township, Manchester Township, and the Village of Manchester) are eligible for a library card free of charge. Our computers, wifi, spaces, fax machine, and programs are open to the public for free - we welcome visitors! Additionally, our Claire Reck Local History Room is available to the public for local history and genealogical research.
