Millennium
Park is a unique, ambitious project which will return 1,400 acres of industrial land to publicly owned, urban, green
space. Once completed, the park and facilities will touch four cities: Grand
Rapids, Walker, Grandville and Wyoming, and be nearly 2-1/2 times larger than
New York’s Central Park, making it one of the nation’s largest urban parks. The
park is located along the Grand River and now offers a beach house, playground,
picnic areas and fishing ponds.
