North Wind Books of Finlandia University invites you to explore the world through our rich selection of books, music, clothing, and Finnish functional design items for the home.
North Wind Books is much more than a traditional university bookstore. Special book collections feature Finnish, Great Lakes, and Upper Michigan history and literature, and related topics including maritime history, copper mining, Native Americans, nature, and the environment.
An entire room of the charming bookshop is dedicated to quality children books. A large section of trade paperbacks will satisfy even the most discriminating adult fiction or non-fiction reader.
The Lion's Den is the official retail outlet for Finlandia University and Finlandia Lions logo merchandise. Items include complete collection of hats, outerwear, youth and adult t-shirts and sweatshirts, mugs, stickers, license plates, pennants, and much more.
The characteristics of Finnish functional design items include simplicity, sturdiness, and the use of innovative materials.
