Paw Paw Park

The site is low land along the river floodplain and is approximately 80% covered by wetlands. A MNRTF Grant helped to acquire an additional 30 acres of land, which was then developed with the help of a second grant in 1997 to include a small parking area, picnic shelter, fishing and canoe access, and a network of pathways throughout the park. The project will also provide the start of a river walk that will hopefully someday connect Window on the Waterfront and Kollen Park.
