In 1989 James and Norma Rice decided to build the R & R Motel on the one acre lot that they owned. They incorporated the office into the house that they had practically built themselves just 22 years earlier. The motel consists of a total of 13 rooms. six of which have one double bed (referred to as a single room) and six which have two double beds (referred to as a double room). They also have an efficiency bedroom located above the office which has its own separate entrance. For more information about the rooms please view the rooms page of our web site.
The R & R Motel is open from the beginning of May to the end of September. The motel is located at 519 Lake Street (M-22 on Betsie Bay) in Frankfort which is part of the Michigan Circle Tour. Please contact us for any additional information, reservations or rates.
