Located six miles from town at the edge of a northern Michigan forest and near the AuSable River, one of our 13 cabins is sure to be the perfect getaway for your family. One, two and three bedroom cabins feature a variety of amenities and all have access to the resort grounds and canoe livery. The resort is small enough for the personal attention of days gone by but also large enough for your family reunion or church retreat. Day-trippers are welcome at the Rainbow Resort Canoe Livery. Canoe, kayak or tube the AuSable River - our most popular trip is the 'three-hour tour' from Parmalee Bridge to the Rainbow Resort Landing but we also have shorter and longer trips. For a real outdoors experience, take an overnight canoe trip and camp along the waters edge.
