Grand Traverse Bay has excellent fishing all year long starting in late April through the end of the season for Lake Trout, Cisco and Steelhead. The Salmon fishing in the Grand Traverse Bays picks up in Mid-July and lasts until mid- October most years. These Salmon seem to bite best in the early hours, so wake up earlier and be ready for to fight the fish of a lifetime.
