Rolling Oak Brewing is a local brewery in Northern Michigan started by a hop loving husband and a top-heavy wife who weren’t gonna settle for a forgettable beer. Rolling Oak serves exclusively original recipe beers — even the root beer — brewed with premium ingredients and time-tested techniques. Have the munchies? Order delivery, bring your own food or choose a snack from the menu. You may also bring your own wine — just ‘still’ wine, no bubbles — for a small corking fee. Find Rolling Oak on tap at local bars throughout Northern Michigan, and take it home in growlers, crowlers or howlers.


Rolling Oak Brewing Co. is housed in Grayling’s historic ice house. The century old building originally stored ice from Lake Margrethe, which was packed in sawdust and loaded on refrigerated railcars. At the time, the building’s cool temperatures made the ice house a natural fit for storing beer for the townspeople. So you could say we’re toasting our forefathers with every pint.
