Sandcastles on the Beach

At Sandcastles On The Beach, you’ll find time to share with family and friends, a quiet place to rest from your busy life, to relax on the beach and catch some rays while the kids build sandcastles and play in the water. Michigan’s Thumb is the perfect vacation spot for the whole family. We are located a short two hours from metropolitan Detroit, right at the “Tip-Of-The-Thumb”.
We’re two and a half miles west of Port Austin. There are great restaurants, out-door activities and almost everything you could want for a great vacation located nearby. Our six condominium units are bright and cozy. Units are located directly on our 200 feet of private Lake Huron beach. All of the condos have fully equipped kitchens. Bed linens are provided as are hotel-style towels. Please bring your own beach towels. The two and three bedroom condo rate is $250.00 per night plus tax. The one bedroom condo rate is $185.00 per night plus tax. We have seven standard motel rooms featuring heat and air conditioning. Rooms available include a King room, Queen room and two Double beds. Two rooms also have a view of beautiful Lake Huron. Motel rates are $75.00 per night plus tax. We are offering our two bedroom Cottage, an original style cottage that has been completely redecorated, featuring air conditioning, full bathroom, kitchen, living and dining combination.
The nightly rate for the Cottage is $149.00 plus tax.
