This Eagle River beach house is located on the Great Sand Bay of the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan. The front of the house provides breathtaking views of Lake Superior, while the back of the house looks out to woods.
Available to rent by the week or weekend from May 1st to October 15th, this three-bedroom house with a full bath has a very open floor plan, book-ended by the bedrooms. There are three full-size beds and one queen-size bed, as well as plenty of room for sleeping bags in the great room.
The house comes fully furnished with linens, dishes and a full kitchen including two refrigerators. Other amenities include a washer/dryer, TV and VCR, CD stereo, outdoor grill, volleyball net, horseshoe pit, and enough sand to build any size sand castle imaginable!
The beach, part of the Great Sand Bay, extends up to the house, putting you just steps away from digging your toes in the sand. Here you can walk the beach with your coffee in the morning, go swimming in the afternoon, and enjoy a tasty dinner on the beach, perhaps enhanced by the northern lights which appear frequently. Be sure to look for the nesting pair of eagles just north of the house.
