Valley Spur is located in the snow-belt of southern Lake Superior receiving up to 200 inches of snow each winter offering some of the best cross-country skiing in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The trails cut through a heavy forest, often follow old logging roads. 44k of traditional and skate skiing for every level of skier. The 26x26 log lodge is open each weekend for warming. Trails are generally skiable from December through April.
