The Williamston Theatre was founded in 2004 by four theatre professionals whose goal was to create moving, entertaining, professional theatre for and about this part of the world.
"We believe that theatre should be accessible and affordable to everyone, whether they live in a large city or a small town. We believe that theatre can enrich our lives and make a positive difference in our community, both culturally and economically."
The Williamston Theatre is a not-for-profit, professional live theatre, which has received a number of local awards including the 2008 Robert Busby Award for extraordinary overall contribution to theatre in the Greater Lansing Area.

Seeing a Play
We saw the play " The Safe House". The acting was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The improvements to the Williamston Theatre were well done- the upgrade to the restrooms was very helpful.
